THE BRAMBLES IN STARLIGHT (SEEDCD27, Released December 2010)
>
AUDIO:

The brambles in starlight is a song that became an installation that happened at a university, then in a historic attic room in Oxford, then in a haberdashery in Bethnal Green, then became a five track mini-CD single wrapped in a ball of Lisa Sleeps' own hand-spun wool. At some point there were also paper aeroplanes with stories written on them that flew into the audiences at Sleeps in Oysters shows, a wolf-pack singing in the middle distance, and a bright green plastic crocodile trumpet leading a cacophonous band of children and animals. Textura described the single as "a macabre Grimm's fairy tale brought to sonic life". It features three new songs and a remix of the title track, and is available to order now at the Seed Shop.
